Sorry Folks. Big bummer. Today's 21st Century Troubadours show is CANCELLED. I am down for the count with a bad cold. So very sorry for any inconvenience. We will be looking to reschedule this show in fall 2026 with the same line up. 21st Century Troubadours songwriter series at The GEM Music Hall on March 29th. April 26th, May 17th and June 28th. The 1st show on March 29th will feature Brian Seymour, Brad Hinton and Heather Hurlock with Host J.D Malone! 4 songwriters on stage at once trading songs and stories.

Dating back to the 12th century, Troubadour refers to the song-meisters of the Middle Ages, but it has been extended to cover contemporary poet-musicians as well. Troubadour is a fitting name for such creative artists: it derives from an Old Occitan word meaning "to compose." Troubadours perform their own songs. Jongleurs (instrumentalists) and Cantaires (singers) also perform troubadours' songs. See less
