J.D Malone was born and raised under a bright blue sky in a small town called Bennington in the Green Mountain State of Vermont, U.S.A. He writes and sings songs about love and hate, angels and demons and the universal struggle to feel safe under the stars.

  • April 2006. Produced and released independent record. Malone and McWilliams - Los Angeles, engineered by Barrie Maguire (The Wallflowers, Natalie Merchant, Amos Lee). Recorded at Red Star Recording / Los Angeles, CA.
  • May 2008. Produced and released J.D Malone and The Experts EP. Dia de los Muertos. Once again engineered by Pete Donnelly and recorded at Philadelphonic Studios in Philadelphia, PA.
  • April 2010. Produced and released J.D Malone and The Experts EP. Use This Side and Save My Face. Engineered by James Stapleford at Chaplin’s in Spring City, PA.
  • July 2011. J.D Malone and The Experts released a full length record titled, Avalon on the It’s About Music Record label with Grammy Award winning engineer / producer Phil Nicolo and Executive producer Dean Sciarra. Studio 4 in Philadelphia, PA. 
  • August 2014. Produced and released J.D Malone and The Experts EP. Astor’s Pet Horse. Engineered by Ted Richardson at Cedar Street Studios in Philadelphia, PA.
  • March 2016.  Produced and released J.D Malone and The Experts LP. Town and Country. Engineered by Cliff Hillis at The Hacienda in Phoenixville, PA.
  • October 2022. Produced and released J.D Malone and The Experts LP. Even Sunbeams. Recorded and Mixed by Pete Donnelly at Katonah Sound studios in Katonah, NY.
